Chi Alpha Mu, standing for Creative Adventures in Mathematics, is the National Junior Mathematics Club for middle schools. Founded in 1967, the organization was reactivated by Mu Alpha Theta in 2008 to promote enjoyment and understanding of mathematics by middle school students.
Approved by the Governing Council in January 2015, Competition Grants will provide up to $250 to help a Chi Alpha Mu chapter to compete in an away math competition or at their school. Funds may be used for entrance fees, transportation, or other needed expenses.
Funds are limited, but please apply. We want to support activities for your members.
